Preventing Amblyopia

The American Academy of Pediatrics and AAPOS recommend age-appropriate vision screening. Objective screening- determining whether the eyes are aligned, clear and focused with instruments (photoscreening) before school, and by monocular (patched) acuity screening after age 4.
