Symptoms of Cardiac Arrest

Symptoms include:

• Loss of consciousness
• No breathing
• No pulse

Prior to cardiac arrest, some patients report the following symptoms or warning signs in the weeks before the event:

• Chest pain
• Weakness
• Pounding in the chest
• Feeling faint
