Treating Heart Attack

Treatment includes:

  • Oxygen
  • Pain-relief medications (such as morphine)
  • Nitrate medications
  • Aspirin and other antiplatelet agents
  • Beta-blocking and/or ACE inhibitor medications (frequently given)
  • Anti-anxiety medications
