What causes Vertebral Fracture?

A vertebral fracture can be caused by:

• Osteoporosis -a condition of weakened bones
• Getting a blow to the back
• Falling down
• Landing on your heels when jumping from a height
• Having major trauma as from a motor vehicle accident
